  • Step #1 1 egg white -- whipped 1/4 c skim milk 3 c white bread crumbs 1/2 ts black pepper 1 lb ground chicken breast, milk, bread crumbs, : skinless 1/2 TB olive oil 27 oz sauerkraut, mix egg white, canned -- : drained 1/2 c onions -- sliced 3/4 c long-grain rice -- uncooked 1 1/2 c water 14 1/2 oz crushed tomatoes In a mixing bowl, salt, and black pepper.
  • Step #2 Add chicken & mix well.
  • Step #3 Shape into 12 meatballs.
  • Step #4 In a skillet, heat oil over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #5 Add meatballs & cook this until no pink remains in chicken.
  • Step #6 Remove meatballs from skillet.
  • Step #7 In same skillet, mix sauerkraut & onions.
  • Step #8 stir in the rice & water.
  • Step #9 Add balls & crushed tomatoes.
  • Step #10 Bring to a boil.
  • Step #11 Reduce heat & let simmer, covered for 30 mins or until rice is done.
