Ingredients
  • 1 ds Pepper
  • 2 tb Water
  • 1/4 ts Oregano leaves
  • 2 ts Vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c Rice, cooked, unsalted
  • 1/2 Recipe Meatball mixture
  • 1/2 ts Sugar
  • 1/2 c Tomato puree
  • 1 tb Onion; sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 2 servings of 6 meatballs, 1/4 c sauce, & 3/4 cu rice each 440 calories per serving 1.
  • Step #2 Thaw frozen meatball mixture in refrigerator.
  • Step #3 2.
  • Step #4 Divide into 12 portions.
  • Step #5 Shape into balls.
  • Step #6 3.
  • Step #7 Brown meatballs on all sides in hot frypan.
  • Step #8 Drain.
  • Step #9 4.
  • Step #10 Mix remaining ingredients except rice.
  • Step #11 Pour over meatballs.
  • Step #12 5.
  • Step #13 Bring to a boil.
  • Step #14 Reduce heat, cover, & boil carefully until sauce thickens--about 10 mins.
  • Step #15 Spoon sauce over meatballs once during cooking.
  • Step #16 6.
  • Step #17 Serve over rice.
