Bean Lasagna [layered Bean & Noodle Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 ts Garlic salt
  • 2 c Shredded Cheddar cheese - divided
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 2/3 c Drained cooked beans - - mashed
  • 1 ts Chili powder
  • 1/8 ts Bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 c sliced onion
  • 4 oz sliced green chilies
  • 15 oz Tomato sauce, divided
  • 2 1/4 oz Sliced ripe olives

Directions
  • Step #1 mix mashed beans,/ onion, 3/4 c tomato sauce, olives, 1 c cheese, chilies & garlic salt taste.
  • Step #2 Mix well.
  • Step #3 Place about 1/3 c bean mixture along center of each tortilla.
  • Step #4 Roll up & place this in two 11-3/4 x 7-1/2 x 1-3/4-inch baking dishes.
  • Step #5 mix remaining tomato sauce; spoon over filled tortillas.
  • Step #6 Sprinkle top remaining cheese over sauce.
  • Step #7 bake this at 350 F.
  • Step #8 15 to 20 mins or until thoroughly heated.
  • Step #9 Makes 12 enchiladas or 6 servings.
