Beef-barley Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Vegetable oil
  • 1 ts Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c Soy sauce
  • 2 tb Sugar
  • 1 lb Beef sirloin
  • 1/2 ts Ginger
  • 2 tb Lemon juice
  • 2 ea Green onions
  • 1 ea Garlic clove

Directions
  • Step #1 in 9x5 inch loaf pan, garlic, mix soy sauce, ginger, oil, lemon juice, sesame seeds & onion.
  • Step #2 Thread meat on 18 to 20 six inch bamboo skewers, pushing the skewer in & out as though sewing.
  • Step #3 Place skewered meat in marinade, turn to coat all sides.
  • Step #4 Cover and refriderate 4 hrs; drain.
  • Step #5 Arrange on broiler pan & broil 5 to 8 inches from heating element.
  • Step #6 Broil 1.
  • Step #7 5 to 2 mins; turn to broil 1 min longer.
  • Step #8 Serve hot.
