Crab Tuna Souffle Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 c cubed French bread
  • 2 tsps mustard powder
  • 1 tsp grated onion
  • 1 (6 oz) can tuna, drained & flaked
  • 8 oz Muenster cheese, cubed
  • 3 c milk
  • 3 tbsps butter
  • 1 (6 oz) can crabmeat, drained & flaked
  • 2 tbsps sliced fresh parsley

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small bowl, stir this together the crabmeat & tuna.
  • Step #2 Place a layer of bread cubes in the bottom of a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • Step #3 Cover with a layer of the crab & tuna, then a layer of cheese & a sprinkle of parsley.
  • Step #4 Repeat layers 2 more times ending with cheese & parsley on top.
  • Step #5 In a medium bowl, butter, whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard powder & onion.
  • Step #6 Pour over the layers in the dish.
  • Step #7 Cover & put in the fridge for at least 3 hrs, or overnight.
  • Step #8 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #9 Let the dish come to about room temp while the oven preheats.
  • Step #10 Bake uncovered for 1 hr & 15 mins in the preheated oven, or until puffed & golden.
