Step #1 Ben & Jerry have been making Oreo Mint ever since they opened their first store this in the gas station.
Step #2 it was their top-selling flavor for a long time & was only recently nudged out of first place by Heath Bar Crunch.
Step #3 Place the cookies in a bowl, cover & put in the fridge.
Step #4 Whisk the eggs in a mxing bowl until light & fluffy, 1-2 mins.
Step #5 Whisk in the sugar, then continue whisking until completely mixed, a little at a time, about 1 min more.
Step #6 Pour in the cream & milk & whisk to mix.
Step #7 add the peppermint extract & mix again.
Step #8 Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker & freeze following manufacturer's instructions.
Step #9 After the ice cream stiffens, add the sliced cookies, about 2 mins before it is done, then continue freezing until the ice cream is ready.
Step #10 Makes 1 generous quart.
