Microwave Carmel Corn Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ts Vanila
  • 1 c Margarine; or butter
  • 1 c Sugar, brown
  • 1/2 ts Baking soda
  • 4 qt Popcorn, popped
  • 1 c Corn syrup, dark

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring the sugar, margarine & corn syrup to a boil in a microwave safe bowl, about one min on HIGH.
  • Step #2 Cook one min longer.
  • Step #3 Mix in the vanilla & baking soda.
  • Step #4 Pour the mixture over the popcorn & mix.
  • Step #5 Place the coated popcorn in a large paper bag.
  • Step #6 Microwave four mins turning & shaking every min.
  • Step #7 Spread on waxed paper to cool.
