Mike Stock Marinade For Beef Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c Water; ice cold
  • 1 Egg
  • 4 c All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/4 c Butter
  • 1 ts Salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Sift flour into a mound on a working surface & hollow out a well in the center with your fingertips.
  • Step #2 Place the butter, egg, salt & half the water in the center of the ring; work up the center mixture with 2 table knives or a pastry cutter, with a cutting motion.
  • Step #3 Work in flour carefully from inside of ring, adding more water as needed.
  • Step #4 Mix until all flour is added & dough holds together.
  • Step #5 this can all be done in a cuisinart following pastry instructions.
  • Step #6 Gather dough into a ball.
  • Step #7 Wrap securely & put in the fridge for at least 1 hr.
  • Step #8 This pastry will keep for 1 week.
