Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c Small pasta shells
  • 1 c sliced onion
  • 1 c Sliced carrots
  • 3 1/2 c Chicken broth
  • 1 Medium-size zucchini ,
  • 2 c Water
  • Beans
  • 1/4 ts Pepper
  • 9 oz Frozen cut Italian Green
  • Sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 1 cn red kidney beans,
  • Quartered lengthwise, then
  • Rinsed & drained
  • 1 cn crushed tomatoes
  • 1 ts Minced garlic

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring broth, water, onion, carrots & garlic to a boil in a 3 to 4-quart pot.
  • Step #2 Reduce heat, cover & let simmer 3 mins or until carrots are crisp- tender.
  • Step #3 Add crushed tomatoes, zucchini, green beans & pepper.
  • Step #4 Return to a boil, cover & let simmer 10 mins, add pasta, stirring every once in awhile, until pasta is tender.
  • Step #5 stir in the beans.
  • Step #6 Makes 10 c, 5 servings.
