Mississippi Fried Oysters Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 lg Eggs; separated
  • 3/4 c Sugar
  • Nutmeg
  • 1/2 c Heavy cream
  • 1 c Bourbon

Directions
  • Step #1 Put the egg yoLks & sugar into the bowI of an electric mixer and beat until light & lemon-colored.
  • Step #2 slowly add the bourbon, beating on lowish speed.
  • Step #3 In a separate bowl whip the cream until stiff.
  • Step #4 Fold it into the egg-yolk mixture.
  • Step #5 In a clean bowl whip the egg whites unti1 stiff & fold them into the eggnog.
  • Step #6 Serve in goblets, preferably silver, with a gen erous grating of nutmeg on top.
