  • 1 ea LARGE YELLOW ONION
  • 4 ea STALKS OF CELERY
  • 2 c CARROTS, CUTUP
  • 4 tb BROWN SUGAR
  • 1 ea GREEN PEPPER
  • 2 tb BEEF SOUP STARTER
  • 1 c WATER
  • 2 tb CORNSTARCH

Directions
  • Step #1 CUT ALL VEGETABLES INTO SMALL BITE SIZED PIECES.
  • Step #2 MIX BEEF SOUP STARTER & WATER IN A DEEP SKILLET & BRING TO A BOIL.
  • Step #3 ADD VEGETABLES.
  • Step #4 REDUCE HEAT & let simmer UNTIL VEGETABLES ARE TENDER.
  • Step #5 ADD BROWN SUGAR & STIR UNTIL MELTED.
  • Step #6 MIX CORNSTARCH WITH 1/4 c WATER.
  • Step #7 ADD TO VEGETABLES IN SKILLET.
  • Step #8 STIR UNTIL LIQUID THICKENS.
  • Step #9 SERVE VEGETABLES WITH COOKING LIQUID.
  • Step #10 CAN BE SERVED WITH BEEF OR CHICKEN MEALS.
