Coffee Liquor Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs, room temperature
  • 3 (1 oz) squares milk chocolate, coarsely sliced
  • 12 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 c white sugar
  • 1/2 c whipped cream
  • 1/2 (1 oz) square semisweet chocolate, grated
  • 7 tbsps heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsps coffee flavored liqueur

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 300F degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In a mixing bowl mix cream cheese & sugar until smooth.
  • Step #3 Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
  • Step #4 Mix in 3 tbsps whipping cream & the coffee-flavored liquor.
  • Step #5 Pour into an 8 inch glass pie pan.
  • Step #6 In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate with remaining 4 tbsps whipping cream.
  • Step #7 Drizzle chocolate in a spiral pattern over filling.
  • Step #8 Stir lightly with tip of table knife to achieve a marbling effect.
  • Step #9 Set the pie pan in a larger pan with water that comes halfway up side of pie pan.
  • Step #10 Bake at 300F degrees F (150 degrees C) until firm in the center, about 55 mins.
  • Step #11 Cool completely & put in the fridge, covered with plastic wrap, overnight.
  • Step #12 Garnish with whipped cream piped or dolloped around edges & shaved chocolate in center.
