Cabbage Curry Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tb Oil
  • 2 ea Cakes medium tofu
  • 1 lb Cabbage, sliced
  • 3 lg Shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 2 ts Soy sauce
  • 1 ts Mirin sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Soak mushrooms in 3/4 c hot water for 1/2 hr.
  • Step #2 Put tofu onto a paper towel & leave to drain for 30 mins.
  • Step #3 Remove mushrooms from water, reserve liquid.
  • Step #4 Cut off & discard stems.
  • Step #5 Slice caps into 1/4" wide strips.
  • Step #6 Heat oil in an 8" skillet.
  • Step #7 When hot, put in cabbage & mushrooms.
  • Step #8 Stir & fry for 1 min, till cabbage wilts.
  • Step #9 Reduce heat to medium.
  • Step #10 Crumble tofu & it to the skillet.
  • Step #11 Add salt, soy sauce & mirin.
  • Step #12 Stir & fry for another 5 mins.
