• 1/2 ts Soda
• 2 ts Baking powder
• 2 tb Salad oil
• 2 1/2 c Sifted all purpose
• 1 tb Grated orange peel
• 1 1/2 c Water
• 1 Slightly beaten egg
• 1 ts Salt
• 1 c Brown sugar
• Flour
• 1 1/2 c Seedless raisins

• Step #1 mix raisins & water; bring to boiling.
• Step #2 Cool to room temperature.
• Step #3 Mix next 4 ingredients.
• Step #4 stir in the raisin mixture.
• Step #5 Sift together dry ingredients; add, beating well.
• Step #6 pour this into greased 8.
• Step #7 5 x 4.
• Step #8 5 x 2.
• Step #9 5 inch loaf pan.
• Step #10 bake this at 325F degrees about 60 mins or till done.
