Camembert & Walnut Pate Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 oz Cream cheese; cut in chunks at about room temp
  • 1 tb Lime juice, fresh
  • 2 tb Finely sliced walnuts toasted extra finely sliced walnuts
  • 7 oz Camembert; rind removed

Directions
  • Step #1 mix Camembert in food processor/blender until smooth.
  • Step #2 slowly add cream cheese, processing until smooth after each addition.
  • Step #3 Add lime juice, process until smooth.
  • Step #4 Transfer mixture to bowl.
  • Step #5 Mix in 2 tb nuts.
  • Step #6 Spice up this with salt & pepper.
  • Step #7 Spoon pate into 2 c bowl.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top with extra sliced walnuts.
  • Step #9 serve this with toasted baguette slices & crudities like endives & red pepper strips.
  • Step #10 If Camembert is very strong, increase amount of cream cheese.
