Candied Apples Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Sugar
  • 4 c Apples; thinly sliced about 4 medium
  • 1/4 c Bisquick
  • 3/4 ts Cinnamon
  • 2 c Bisquick
  • 2 tb Cinnamon apple jelly
  • 1/3 c Brown sugar
  • 2/3 c Whipping cream
  • 1 tb Butter; firm

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 425F.
  • Step #2 Mix 2 c bisquick, whipping cream & sugar until soft dough forms.
  • Step #3 Shape into ball.
  • Step #4 Pat dough into ungreased 12 inch pizza pan.
  • Step #5 Spread apples over dough.
  • Step #6 Mix 1/4 c bisquick, brown sugar, butter & cinnamon until crumbly; Sprinkle top it over apples.
  • Step #7 Cover edge with 2 inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.
  • Step #8 Bake 5 mins; remove foil.
  • Step #9 Bake 10 to 15 mins longer or until edge is deep golden brown.
  • Step #10 Heat jelly until melted; drizzle over tart.
