Candy: M&m Christmas Ornaments Recipe

Ingredients

1 ts Vanilla
1/3 ts Salt
1/3 c Light corn syrup
1 c Water
2 qt Popped popcorn
2/3 ts Vinegar
8 candy sticks
1 1/3 c Sugar

Directions

Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 250.
Step #2 Place popcorn in a large 4 inch deep butttred baking pan.
Step #3 keep warm in oven.
Step #4 mix sugar, vinegar, cornsyrup, water, & salt in a large saucepan.
Step #5 cook this until mixture reaches 250 on a candy thermometer.
Step #6 remove this from heat & quickly stir in the vanilla.
Step #7 Remove popcorn from oven.
Step #8 Pour syrup mixture over popcorn, stirring to mix well.
Step #9 Shape 1 c of popcorn around each candy stick to form a.
