Cang Cua Boc Tom (shrimp On Crab Legs) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 c Nuts, sliced
  • 3/4 c Butter
  • 2 c Sugar
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 10 x Caramels
  • 1 c Flour
  • 4 oz Unsweetened baking choc.

Directions
  • Step #1 In large bowl, or in pan on stove over low heat/flame (if in pan, melt butter & chocolate in microwave for 5 mins, stir constantly).
  • Step #2 Stir until completely melted.
  • Step #3 Add sugar & mix til sugar is absorbed by chocolate.
  • Step #4 Add eggs & vanilla & stir, then add flour & stir til lumps are gone, don't stir more than that.
  • Step #5 Mix in nuts.
  • Step #6 Pour thin layer of batter into greased 8x12 pan (just enough to cover the bottom).
  • Step #7 Melt carmel in microwave for 30 seconds, or in pan until soft.
  • Step #8 The carmel will still be in squares, but it will be warm and soft.
  • Step #9 With fingers, flatten squares into larger squares & put on top of brownie layer.
  • Step #10 Add the rest of the batter.
  • Step #11 bake this at 350 for 35 to 40 mins.
