Ingredients

Directions
  • Step #1 Tomatoes, peeled 2 tbsp lemon juice per quart 1/2 tsp pickling salt per quart 1/2 tsp sugar per quart 1/8 black pepper per quart Scald tomatoes & plunge into cold water.
  • Step #2 Peel & core.
  • Step #3 Cut or mush up.
  • Step #4 Add salt, pepper, sugar & lemon juice into sterilized quart jars.
  • Step #5 Add tomatoes.
  • Step #6 Do not add any liquid.
  • Step #7 Process in boiling water bath for 45 mins for quarts or 35 mins for pints.
