Old-fashioned Sour Cream Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 c Canned applesauce
1 tb Bottled steak sauce
2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Leaf sage, crumbled
1 x Medium onion, grated
2 x Eggs
1/4 ts Pepper
2 lb Ground beef
1 c Quick-cooking rolled oats

Directions

Step #1 Mix ground beef lightly with eggs, salt, pepper, rolled oats, applesauce, onion, & sage until well-mixed.
Step #2 Pack firmly into a loaf pan 9x5x3; unmold into a shallow baking pan.
Step #3 Score top in criss-cross pattern & brush with steak sauce.
Step #4 Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 1 hr & 15 mins, or until brown.
