Step #18 Fold omelet in half & place on a heat-resistant, non-metallic serving platter.

Step #20 Variations: Cheese Omelet: Sprinkle top omelet with 1/2 c shredded cheese after Step 6.
Step #21 Cover & return to Microwave Oven for an ad-ditional 30 seconds to melt cheese.
Step #22 Continue with Step 7.
Step #23 Bacon Omelet: Cook bacon before preparing omelet.
Step #24 Crumble bacon into egg mixture during Step 1.
Step #25 If desired, some of the bacon drippings may be used in place of the butter.
Step #26 Western Omelet: Add 1/4 c sliced onion 1/4 c sliced green pepper & 1/4 c sliced ham to egg mixture during Step 1 Heat an extra 1 min during Steps 4 & 6.
Step #27 Onion Omelet: Add 1/2 c sauteed onions to egg mixture during Step 1.
