Orange & Currant Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tb Powdered cugar
  • 1/3 c Orange juice
  • 1 pk Cream Cheese
  • 3 ts Grated orange peel

Directions
  • Step #1 In small bowl of electric mixer or food processor/blender fitted with a metal blade, process all ingredients until smooth & light.
  • Step #2 Spoon into a small serving dish.
  • Step #3 Cover & put in the fridge.
  • Step #4 let this stand at room temperature 20 to 30 mins before serving.
  • Step #5 Makes about 1 c.
  • Step #6 VARIATIONS: Ginger-Orange Spread: Add 1 tbsp minced crystallized ginger.
  • Step #7 Prune-Cheese Spread: Add 1/2 c finely sliced prunes.
