Chocolate Rum Ballsi Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c chocolate sprinkles (jimmies)
  • 1 c almonds
  • 1 (3 oz) package cream cheese
  • 3 (1 oz) squares unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1/4 c rum
  • 1 tsp instant coffee granules
  • 1 c confectioners' sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In the microwave or in a bowl over simmering water, melt chocolate, stirring every once in awhile until smooth.
  • Step #2 Process the almonds in a food processor/blender.
  • Step #3 Transfer to a medium bowl & stir in the the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, instant coffee & rum.
  • Step #4 Blend in the melted chocolate.
  • Step #5 If dough is too soft to form balls, chill for 1 hr.
  • Step #6 Roll dough into 1 inch balls.
  • Step #7 Roll the balls in the chocolate sprinkles.
  • Step #8 Store in a covered container in the refrigerator until serving time.
