Carob Poundcake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Frozen bananas
  • 2 tb Nuts -=OR=-
  • 1 tb Peanut butter
  • 1/8 ts Mint-peppermint flavor.
  • 1 1/2 tb Carob powder
  • 1/16 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c To 3/4 water

Directions
  • Step #1 Follow directions for banana ice cream, leaving out the liquid called for in that recipe.
  • Step #2 BANANA ICE CREAM INSTRUCTIONS: Peel ripe, but not mushy bananas.
  • Step #3 place this in plastic bag & freeze solid.
  • Step #4 This takes several hrs.
  • Step #5 To make ice cream, cut 2 medium size bananas into about 5 or 6 pieces.
  • Step #6 mix with 1/2-3/4 c liquid, or just enough to slowly turn bananas through the blades.
  • Step #7 The liquid may be fruit juice such as pineapple, orange or grape, apple, or SOY OR NUT MILK.
  • Step #8 While mixing, use a rubber spatula to help bananas rotate.
  • Step #9 Also, every once in awhile turn off machine & stir.
  • Step #10 Ice cream will keep in the freezer up top 2 hrs before getting hard to serve.
  • Step #11 Use as a dessert or over WAFFLES, cooked cereal, PANCAKES, GRANOLA, etc.
  • Step #12 Note: Ingredients in capital letters refer to either another recipe or a cooking method which can be found elsewhere in the series.
  • Step #13 Unfamiliar ingredients can be found in most large grocery stores or health food stores.
