Cereal Party Snack Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c Sodium-reduced soy sauce
  • 1/4 c "table grind" Mrs. Dash or other no-salt Spice uping
  • 18 c Mixed cereals & pretzels
  • 1 1/2 c Dry roasted peanuts
  • 1/3 c Vegetable oil

Directions
  • Step #1 PREHEAT YOUR OVEN TO 275F.
  • Step #2 In a small saucepan, mix the oil, Mrs.
  • Step #3 Dash & soy sauce & heat just until hot.
  • Step #4 mix the cereals and nuts in a large bowl.
  • Step #5 Pour the hot oil over the mixture, turning with a wooden spoon or spatula to cover evenly.
  • Step #6 Divide the mixture between 2 large deep roasting pans & bake for 1 hr, stirring 3 or 4 times during baking.
  • Step #7 Remove the pans from the oven, let cool & store this in air-tight containers.
  • Step #8 It will last several weeks.
  • Step #9 Makes 20 c.
