Pan Fried Or Sauteed Yellow Perch Recipe

Ingredients
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 1/4 lb Brussels sprouts,washed &
  • 1 lb Button onions, peeled
  • 2 tb Sunflower oil
  • 2 oz Butter
  • Outer leaves removed

Directions
  • Step #1 Using a small sharp knife, score a cross in the base of each brussels sprout.
  • Step #2 Cook in a large pan of water for 5 mins.
  • Step #3 Drain & cool.
  • Step #4 Set aside until needed.
  • Step #5 Meanwhile, heat the butter & oil in a large frying pan, then add the onions.
  • Step #6 Cook over a medium heat until they start to turn golden.
  • Step #7 Cut the cooled brussels sprouts into quarters, stir in the with the onions & Spice uping & cook over a high heat for 8-10 mins until the sprouts are just tender.
