Ingredients
  • Topping----
  • 18 1/4 oz Duncan Hines? Moist Deluxe
  • 2 ts Pure vanilla extract
  • 2 c Powdered sugar -- sifted
  • 3/4 c Water
  • 3 tb Lemon juice, bottled
  • Batter----
  • 1 tb Olive oil
  • 3 oz Lemon gelatin powder
  • Thawed
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 6 oz Passion fruit juice --
  • 3 Egg whites -- whipped
  • White Cake Mix

Directions
  • Step #1 Soak top & bottom of a clay pot in water for at least 15 mins.
  • Step #2 To prepare batter, vanilla extract, mix cake mix, egg whites, dry lemon gelatin, water, & oil in a mixing bowl.
  • Step #3 Line bottom & up sides of pot with waxed paper.
  • Step #4 Cover, & place this in a cold oven.
  • Step #5 Set temperature to 400.
  • Step #6 Bake for 45 mins or until springs back when touched.
  • Step #7 Meanwhile to prepare topping, mix fruit juice, powdered sugar, lemon juice, & water in a saucepan.
  • Step #8 Stir over med-heat/flame until sugar has dissolved.
  • Step #9 Remove cake from oven.
  • Step #10 Prick top all over with a fork & immediatley pour fruit juice mixture over top.
