Passover Dark Chocolate Nut Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c Matzo meal
  • 1 c Water
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/3 c Fat
  • 4 Eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 Boil water & fat in sauce pan.
  • Step #2 While boiling, pour in salt and matzo meal.
  • Step #3 Continue coding & stirring until batter no longer sticks to sides of pan.
  • Step #4 remove this from fire.
  • Step #5 Add unbeaten eggs 1 at a time beating well after each addition.
  • Step #6 Drop by tbspsful on a greased cokie sheet.
  • Step #7 Bake 25 min.
  • Step #8 at 450 F.
  • Step #9 Reduce oven to 325F F.
  • Step #10 & bake 45 min.
  • Step #11 longer.
  • Step #12 When cool, cut in half & fill with whipped cream, custard, fruits, etc.
  • Step #13 , & Sprinkle top tops with confectioners' sugar.
  • Step #14 Yield: 12 good sized puffs.
