Peach & Apricot Preserve Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Lemon juice
  • 2 c Shiro plums, sliced
  • 3 c Apricots, sliced
  • 3 c Peaches, peeled & sliced
  • 1 ts Margarine
  • 6 c Sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In a Dutch oven, mix 2 c each of the peaches & apricots with the remaining ingredients excepting the margarine.
  • Step #2 Mash enough to break the fruit.
  • Step #3 stir in the the remaining peaches & apricots.
  • Step #4 Add margarine Bring to a slow boil, stirring.
  • Step #5 Boil, continuing to stir frequently, for 20 mins or until setting point is reached.
  • Step #6 Ladle into sterile 250mL canning jars leaving 1/2" headspace.
  • Step #7 Wipe rim & seal.
  • Step #8 Process for 5 mins in a boiling water bath.
  • Step #9 Remove, cool, label & store.
