Peach Gelatin Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ts Baking soda
  • 1 c sliced walnuts
  • 1 cn peaches, drained, ch
  • 1/4 c Apricot or peach brandy
  • 1 1/2 c Raisins
  • 1 ts Cinnamon
  • 1/2 ts Ground cloves
  • 1 cn mincemeat
  • 16 oz Mixed candied fruits
  • 1 1/4 c Brown sugar, packed
  • 8 oz Candied cherries
  • 1 cn sweetened condensed
  • 2 1/2 c Whole wheat pastry flour

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large mixing bowl, baking soda, brown sugar, mix flour, cinnamon, & cloves.
  • Step #2 stir in the candied fruits, nuts & raisins.
  • Step #3 Add peaches, milk, mincemeat & brandy; mix well.
  • Step #4 pour this into oiled 5 x 9-inch loaf pans.
  • Step #5 bake this at 300F degrees for 2 hrs or until done.
  • Step #6 Cool completely before removing from pans.
  • Step #7 Wrap in brandy-soaked cheesecloth; then wrap in aluminum foil.
  • Step #8 Makes 2 fruitcakes.
