Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Breads Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tb Shortening
  • 1 c Butterscotch chips
  • 1 c Chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c Salted peanuts; sliced
  • 1 3/4 c Confectioners sugar
  • 1 c Creamy peanut butter
  • 2 c Rice krispies
  • 1/4 c Butter; softened

Directions
  • Step #1 In large mixer bowl, mix peanut butter & butter.
  • Step #2 Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often until well mixed.
  • Step #3 Continue beating, slowly adding sugar & scraping bowl often, until smooth.
  • Step #4 By hand, stir in the cereal & peanuts.
  • Step #5 Shape rounded tspfuls of peanut butter mixture into balls; place on wax ined cookie sheet.
  • Step #6 Cover; put in the fridge at least 1 hr.
  • Step #7 In 1 quart saucepan, mix all coating ingredients.
  • Step #8 Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until melted.
  • Step #9 remove this from heat.
  • Step #10 Using a spoon, dip peanut butter balls into chocolate mixture; let excess chocolate drip off.
  • Step #11 Place on waxed paper.
  • Step #12 put in the fridge at least 30 mins until set.
  • Step #13 store this in put in the fridge in airtight container or freeze onto one month.
  • Step #14 Calories: 120 Protein: 2 g Carbohydrate: 13 g Fat 8 g Cholesterol: 3 mg Sodium: 70 mg.
