Peanut Butter S'mores Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c Milk, scalded
  • 1 Cake compressed yeast
  • 2 Eggs, well beaten
  • 3 1/4 To 4 c flour
  • 2 ts Salt
  • 1/4 c Melted shortening
  • 1/4 c Sugar
  • 1/2 c Peanut butter
  • 1/4 c Lukewarm water
  • 1/4 ts Nutmeg

Directions
  • Step #1 Soften yeast in water.
  • Step #2 Add milk, eggs, salt, sugar, shortening, nutmeg, & peanut butter.
  • Step #3 Beat well.
  • Step #4 Add flour to make a dough barely stiff enough to be kneaded.
  • Step #5 Knead until smooth on lightly floured board.
  • Step #6 Cover & let rise until double in bulk; work down.
  • Step #7 Form into rolls.
  • Step #8 Place on well-oiled baking sheet.
  • Step #9 Cover & let rise until treble in bulk.
  • Step #10 Bake in hot oven (450? F) about 15 mins.
  • Step #11 16 rolls.
