Chicken 'n' Vegetable Stir Fry Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c Broccoli Forets
  • 1 ts White or Rice Vinegar
  • 1 ea Env Golden Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 ts Imported Soy Sauce
  • 1 ea Med Carrot Thinly Sliced
  • 1 x Hot Cooked Rice
  • 1/2 ea Med Red or Green Pepper
  • 1/2 ts Ground Ginger
  • 1 1/2 c Water
  • 1 ts Cornstarch
  • 3 tb Oil
  • 1 lb Bonless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 oz Snow Peas

Directions
  • Step #1 Chicken breasts should be cut into thin strips.
  • Step #2 Sweet pepper should be cut into thin strips.
  • Step #3 --- ------------------- In large skillet, heat oil & cook chicken with vegetables over medium- high heat, stirring constantly.
  • Step #4 10 mins or until chicken is golden & vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • Step #5 Thoroughly mix golden onion recipe soup mix, ginger, cornstarch, water, soy sauce & vinegar; stir in theto chicken mixture.
  • Step #6 Bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered t mins or until sauce is thickened.
  • Step #7 Serve over hot rice & garnish, if desired, with sliced green onion & toasted sesame seeds.
  • Step #8 MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Omit oil & degrease ginger to 1/4 t.
  • Step #9 In 2-quart casserole, uncovered, heat chicken, at HIGH (Full Power) 4 mins or until almost done; remove chicken & drain.
  • Step #10 Add vegetables to casserole & heat uncovered 5 mins at HIGH (Full Power).
  • Step #11 Thoroughly mix golden onion soup mix, water, cornstarch, ginger, soy sauce & vinegar; stir in theto vegetables.
  • Step #12 Heat uncovered 5 mins on HIGH (Full Power) or until sauce is thickened, stirring once.
  • Step #13 Return chicken to casserole & heat 1 min or until heated through.
  • Step #14 let this stand covered 5 mins.
  • Step #15 Serve & garnish as above.
