Dish Pan Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c vegetable oil
  • 1 c sliced pecans
  • 1 c sliced dates
  • 1 1/2 c rolled oats
  • 2 c white sugar
  • 1 c flaked coconut
  • 1 c raisins
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 4 c all-purpose flour
  • 4 c cornflakes cereal
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 2 c light brown sugar
  • 2 tsps baking soda

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325F degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
  • Step #3 Cream white sugar, eggs, brown sugar, vegetable oil & vanilla together in a large bowl or dishpan.
  • Step #4 In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda & salt.
  • Step #5 Stir the flour mixture into the creamed sugar; mix until well mixd.
  • Step #6 Stir corn flakes, oats, pecans, coconut, dates & raisins into the dough.
  • Step #7 You will most likely need to use your hands to mix everything thoroughly.
  • Step #8 Shape the dough into 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls & press them down lightly onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Step #9 Bake in a preheated 325F degrees F (165 degrees C) oven for 10 to 14 mins or until golden.
