Ingredients
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 c sliced walnuts
  • CRUST:
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • FILLING
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine
  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c flaked coconut

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small bowl, mix flour & brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Step #2 Pat into a 13-in.
  • Step #3 x 9-in.
  • Step #4 x 2-in.
  • Step #5 baking pan.
  • Step #6 Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 mins.
  • Step #7 Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, beat eggs & brown sugar; stir in the vanilla.
  • Step #8 Combine flour & salt; add to egg mixture.
  • Step #9 Fold in coconut & walnuts.
  • Step #10 Spread over baked crust.
  • Step #11 Return to oven & bake 20-25 mins longer or until golden brown.
  • Step #12 Cool in pan on a wire rack.
