Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c cornstarch
  • 1 c butter, softened
  • 1/2 c confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 With an electric beater, mix together the butter or margarine & the confectioners' sugar.
  • Step #2 Sift together the flour & the corn starch & mix in slowly in the butter mixture.
  • Step #3 Add the chocolate chips.
  • Step #4 Shape dough into little balls of approximately 1 1/4 inch in diameter.
  • Step #5 Put on a non-greased cookie sheet.
  • Step #6 Bake at 330 degrees F (170 degrees C) for approximately 20 mins.
