Ingredients
3/4 c boiling water
3 c cold milk
2 (1.3 oz) envelopes whipped topping mix
1 (18.25 oz) package chocolate cake mix
1/2 c cold water
1 (3 oz) package fruit flavored gelatin mix
2 (3.9 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
Directions
Step #1 Prepare & bake cake mix according to package directions for a 9x13 inch pan.
Step #2 Poke holes in cake while still hot with a fork.
Step #3 Make gelatin with 1 c of boiling water, then stir in the cold water.
Step #4 Slowly pour liquid gelatin over hot cake.
Step #5 Cool cake completely in the freezer before frosting.
Step #6 To make the frosting: Using an electric mixer, beat together the instant pudding, whipped topping & milk until thickened.
Step #7 Pour over completely cooled cake.
Step #8 Keep cake in freezer until ready to serve.
