Cranberry Tart Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/3 c orange juice
  • 2 1/2 c fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsps biscuit baking mix
  • 1 2/3 c biscuit baking mix
  • 1/2 c water
  • FILLING:
  • 4 1/2 tsps sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In a bowl, mix biscuit mix, sugar & water.
  • Step #2 With lightly floured hands, press mixture onto the bottom & up the sides of an ungreased 9-in.
  • Step #3 fluted tart pan with a removable bottom; set aside.
  • Step #4 In a saucepan, mix sugar & biscuit mix.
  • Step #5 Add the cranberries, orange juice & butter.
  • Step #6 Cook & stir until mixture comes to a boil.
  • Step #7 Cook 1-2 mins longer or until thickened & bubbly.
  • Step #8 Pour over crust.
  • Step #9 Bake at 375 degrees F for 30-35 mins or until crust is golden & filling is bubbly.
  • Step #10 Cool on a wire rack.
