Coconut Puffs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c coconut milk
  • 1/4 c white sugar
  • 1/2 c self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 quart oil for frying
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 In a medium bowl, self-rising flour, mix all-purpose flour, cinnamon, cardamom & sugar.
  • Step #2 Stir in coconut milk until lumps disappear.
  • Step #3 Heat oil in deep-fryer or wok to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Step #4 Drop batter by tbsps into hot oil.
  • Step #5 Fry until golden brown.
  • Step #6 Remove with a slotted spoon & drain on paper towels.
