Chocolate Toffee Crunch Bars Recipe

Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #2 In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 c brown sugar, & 1/3 c melted butter.
Step #3 Press into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
Step #4 Bake for 8 to 10 mins in preheated oven.
Step #5 In a saucepan, mix 1/2 c butter & 1/2 c brown sugar.
Step #6 Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil; boil for 1 min.
Step #7 Pour as soon as possible over baked cookie base.
Step #8 Bake for 10 more mins.
Step #9 Remove from oven, & sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Step #10 Let stand for 2 to 3 mins, until chips are shiny & soft.
Step #11 Spread the softened chocolate evenly over the top.
Step #12 Sprinkle top with sliced nuts.
Step #13 Cool before cutting into bars.
