Cocktail Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 9 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 c vinegar
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  •  
  • 4 tsps Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsps dried minced onion flakes
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 c rolled oats
  • seasoning salt to taste
  • 3/4 c ketchup
  • 2 tbsps dried minced onion flakes
  • 1/3 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325F degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In a large bowl, minced onion flakes, mix the ground beef, eggs, rolled oats, hot pepper sauce & seasoning salt.
  • Step #3 Mix well & form into 1 inch meatballs.
  • Step #4 Place into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Step #5 Bake, uncovered, at 325F degrees F (165 degrees C) for 30 mins.
  • Step #6 Meanwhile, in a separate medium bowl, water, dry mustard, brown sugar, minced onion flakes, mix the ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce & hot pepper sauce.
  • Step #7 Mix together well & set aside.
  • Step #8 Remove meatballs from oven & pour reserved sauce over them.
  • Step #9 Cover with foil & return to oven.
  • Step #10 Bake, covered, in a preheated oven for 1 hr.
