Cincinnati Skyline Chili Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 c kidney beans
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c olives
  • 1 tsp distilled white vinegar
  • 1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c sliced onion
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsps chili powder
  • 1 onion, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Brown beef & onion in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Step #2 Place browned mixture in a large pot & stir in the the tomato sauce, chili powder, garlic, cayenne pepper, vinegar, cinnamon, Worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper.
  • Step #3 Simmer, uncovered, over low heat/flame for 1 1/2 hrs.
  • Step #4 When meat mixture has about 20 mins cooking time left, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Step #5 Add pasta & cook for 8 to 10 mins or until al dente; drain & set aside.
  • Step #6 Serve meat mixture over cooked spaghetti topped with cheese, beans, olives & sliced onion.
