Ingredients
- 1 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 Cup light cream shopping list
- 6 Tablespoons butter,softened shopping list
- 2 Fresh eggs shopping list
- 1-1/2 Cups flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- Zest ,grated finely (one each) Fresh lemon,Orange,Lime shopping list
- Glaze: shopping list
- 1/2 Cup(plus)1 Tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Orange Jucie shopping list
- 1 Tablespoons Fresh lime juice shopping list
- Mix the ingredients for glaze in saucepan,cook and stir over a low heat until sugar is dissolved and,mixture is slightly thick.(Prepare this during last stage of baking the Loaf) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sugar,cream,butter and eggs,mix well.
- Blend in the dry ingredients and the three zests.
- Pour batter into a greased,floured,9x5" loaf pan.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 50 to 60 minutes(or)until toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly,then remove from pan,onto wax paper.
- Prick top of loaf with fork.
- Pour warm glaze over top of loaf.
- Serve warm,or at room temperature
