How to make it

  • Butter the toast.
  • Combine the ham,mayonnaise,mustard,salt and pepper.
  • Placing the buttered toast on a sheet,spread a good amount of ham mixture on each slice of toast.
  • Beat the whites of the eggs until firm,but,not dry.
  • Spoon the whites on each of the ham topped toast slices.
  • Make a hollow in each one and drop an egg yolk in it.(being sure not to break the yolk)
  • Sprinkle with pepper,place in a 350 degree oven for 8 minutes.
  • The yolks need to be set and the whites a nice delicate color.(just don't overcook them)
