Asparagus Boston Lettuce And Orange Salad

- 2 heads boston lettuce washed and torn shopping list
- 1 large red onion sliced and separated into rings shopping list
- 2 large seedless oranges peeled and cut crosswise into slices shopping list
- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears blanched shopping list
- 1/2 cup creamy poppy seed dressing shopping list
How to make it
- Cover large serving platter with lettuce then top with onions and oranges.
- Add asparagus to a large pot of boiling water then cook 3 minutes and drain.
- Immediately plunge asparagus into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking.
- When completely cool and pat dry then place asparagus on top of lettuce.
- Drizzle with dressing and serve immediately.
