Strawberry Fudge Mud Pie

- 6 tablespoons butter melted shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate wafers shopping list
- 1 pint chocolate ice cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup toasted coarsely chopped almonds shopping list
- 1 pint strawberry ice cream shopping list
- 1/3 cup chocolate ice cream topping shopping list
- whipped cream and whole strawberries for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Stir together crushed wafers and butter then press crumbs on bottom and sides of pie plate.
- Chill 1 hour or until firm.
- In medium bowl soften ice cream using a wooden spoon to stir and press against side of bowl.
- Spread softened ice cream evenly atop cookie crust then sprinkle with toasted almonds.
- Freeze until firm about 1 hour.
- In a clean bowl soften strawberry ice cream as described above.
- Remove pie from freezer and spread strawberry ice cream atop almond layer.
- Return to freezer.
- In a small saucepan heat and stir the topping just until heated through.
- Cool topping slightly then remove pie from freezer and drizzle top of pie with topping.
- Return to freezer immediately and freeze 4 hours.
- To serve let pie stand at room temperature about 10 minutes.
- Garnish pie with whipped cream and whole strawberries.
