Florentine Slice Recipe
A delicious sticky gooey slice. Topped with delicious chocolate.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup sultanas
  • 2 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup nuts (any sort, i use almond slivers)
  • 60g glace cherries chopped
  • 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 250g dark cooking chocolate

Directions
  1. Line a large shallow tray with foil
  2. Pre-heat oven to 180C
  3. Combine all ingredients (except the chocolate) in a large bowl
  4. Mix til combined
  5. Press mixture into the lined tray
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden
  7. Place the chocolate in a bowl
  8. Melt the chocolate
  9. Allow the baked mixture to cool slightly
  10. Pour melted chocolate on top of mixture
  11. spread out to edge of tray
  12. Allow to set in fridge for 2-3 hours or overnight
  13. Cut into small squares.
