How to make it

  • Cut each chicken to 8 pieces (do not remove the skin).
  • Clean the chicken from excess grease and skin, put some vinegar on them to get rid of the bad smell and leave them soaked in vinegar for 5 min.
  • After 5min, wash all the vinegar off the chicken and add some salt, black pepper, and basil and mix.
  • Heat some vegetable oil in a pan, put the chicken pieces inside and fry both sides of the chicken on high temperature until golden.
  • Transfer the chicken to another pot .
  • In the same oil, fry the carrots until golden, then fry the onions and garlic with the carrots until golden.
  • Transfer fried vegetables to the top of the chicken.
  • Add water until half the pot, add cardamom and bay leaves and leave to boil.
  • Cook for 30min.
  • After cooked fresh dill on top.
  • Served with pasta or rice.
