How to make it

  • Stir the onions and garlic into the oil in a medium hot pan until soft.
  • Stir in the tomatopuree and soup powder.
  • Pour in the water and mix well.
  • Heat until boiling point has been reached.
  • Put in the chutney, sugar and tobascosauce.
  • Stir well.
  • Turn down heat and leave for about 10 minutes.
  • Serve or let it cool down and freeze.

    It is used in this recipe for flavor and thickening, so, sub with a beef or so stock for flavor and some flour for thickening. Hope it helps!

    Is there a sub for oxtail soup powder. Don't think I can get it in these parts.
