How to make it

  • Put beef in pot and bring to boil
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 3 hrs
  • Remove from heat and let cool
  • Trim off any fat and cut into strips against the grain about 1/2 inch thick
  • Prepare Batter
  • dip beef into batter and deep fry about 2 - 3 minutes
  • Serve with mustard

    I have to try this. I love corned beef. Im always trying new and different ways to make it. I made corned beef Galumpkis a few weeks ago for the first time. They were good, but I added too much potatoes and not enough beef. Hey, thats why I love to cook....and your are correct about the culinary school thingy. I was thinking about it too, but didnt want it to become a "job". Take care. Dan
